Getting the equipment needed to ensure their safety.
Thanks to our generous donors, we are helping protect the health and safety of the MRC search dog team by supplying dog harnesses certified for search and rescue work, capable of safely supporting the dogs when they need to be raised and lowered during search operations. Because of the arduous nature of their work, the dogs are always at risk for injury, and we have provided tactical K-9 trauma kits for each dog specially outfitted to care for dog injuries.
